Yes, I feel that way, too. It’s strange now — we’re living in a time where most young people have never touched a typewriter. They don’t know what it feels like, how it slows you down and makes you more careful, how your thought processes are entirely different when you’re composing on a typewriter — and they don’t care. They type with two thumbs on a tiny keyboard and that’s all they know. They don’t know what they’re missing.
