Wow, I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks this sounds like an impossible mishmash. It sounds like they should have kept their brainstorming quiet until they actually made it workable.

I can't imagine anyone willing to pay for episodes they may or may not want to read. The writers would have to be well known enough for me to go that route. If they open it up to everyone--ala Medium--the good writers will again get lost in the crowd.

It's a money-maker for Amazon, no doubt, but until it's streamlined and looks like something a reader would want to get involved in I'm going to pass.
