Well said, Teresa. I run as far away as I can from toxic groups but I have to say the four I’ve joined on Facebook work hard to steer clear of those obstacles. A good community nurtures its members, and its essential when they’re dealing with writers, or any creatives. We have egos that threaten to burst at any point. Writing is personal and we writers bruise easily. The last thing we need is destruction by a thousand cuts.
