Unsurprisingly, the Democrats CAN’T impeach Trump. As long as there’s a Republican majority in the Senate it’s an exercise in futility. It wouldn’t pass, no matter how much we wish it, and it would cost millions of dollars and precious time needed elsewhere.

Nancy Pelosi and nearly every other Democrat in Washington knows this. When she said yesterday “He isn’t worth it”, it was a calculated response designed to stick it to Trump, but what she meant, and what I believe, is “It isn’t worth it.”

We have to pick our battles. Impeachment sounds good but the effort would go nowhere. We need to stop talking about it and work on helping the people most hurt by Trump’s insanity. Let Mueller do his job. There is a known criminal in the White House and, unless we’re not the country I think we are, he’ll get taken down in due time.
