Sorry I missed this, Judy. I never really liked the first Roseanne show, and it was because of her. She had no acting chops and every scene with her was amateur hour. But I agree about Laurie Metcalf and John Goodman. I felt bad for them, too, but they’re up there working and doing their thing while Roseanne is a hot mess.

Sometimes fame comes to those who think they don’t deserve it and they do everything they can to prove it. The public aspect of their downfall is especially painful, even when they do it to themselves.
