Religion is a comfort to many people, including children raised in a religious home. I won’t find fault with any of them as long as they don’t indoctrinate their children to think they’re better than I am or to work against our secular society.

I know many families, including in my own family, who don’t use religion as a cudgel. It’s true that some of them can’t stop bragging about their relationship with God or the power of prayer, but I can ignore that as long as it doesn’t directly affect me.
