Rave on, Sherry. I’ve seen crappy writers get ahead for years and years and years but Medium is like a microcosm. I’ve never seen so much bad writing rewarded while so much really good writing is barely noticed.

Medium encourages ANY writing, which might be okay on a really crappy website but this is a site BEHIND A PAYWALL. Who wants to pay for bad writing? Only other Medium writers, it seems, in order to make our own few bucks, so in effect we’re paying those successful bad writers.

As much as I like the format and the community, watching bad writers get away with writing shit is getting me down.
