Oh, I feel your pain! I went to bed on election night knowing he had won and I hadn’t felt that depressed in years. I keep trying to get over it, but every day in every way Trump twists the knife. Keeping those kids caged and those families in constant fear has set me on edge again and whatever notion I had about just writing humor and fluff and forgetting about it has gone out the window.

I’m a small voice but I have to speak out. My hope is that if enough people speak out we WILL be heard. We encourage others to speak out when we do it, and that’s reason enough.

We have to win the House, the Senate, and the White House in 2020. If we don’t I don’t think we’ll survive as the country we once knew and loved. The numbers have to be high enough to withstand gerrymandering, the electoral college, and the Russians.
