I’m the owner of a Medium publication, Indelible Ink. Most of my stories go there, but I’m wondering if that’s the best thing to do, since I’m sure Medium’s own publications don’t go looking in other publications for stories to consider. Am I right in this?

Are we at a disadvantage when we publish in publications that aren’t Medium’s own? I have a list of writers who publish regularly on my pub and I would hate to think they’ve given up any chance at getting into your more visible (and lucrative) publications by coming into mine. Thanks for any clarification.
