I read your story about your neighbor and I thought you handled it very well, but there's always a risk when personal stories put someone else in a less-than-good light.

I personally don't do it because it's not how I write (and that may be why I couldn't make it here at Medium, come to think of it), but I don't have a problem with reading stories of confrontations if they're written with honesty and authenticity.

I never want stories to get so personal I feel like a voyeur, or feel I have to take sides. As a reader, I stay clear of them.

I doubt if that's where you're heading, Christina, so I'd say you're doing just fine.
