I read The Hobbit many years ago but it didn’t spur me on to read any of the others. Truth be told, it was a hard slog for me. I really should try it again, now that I’m older.

While I admire what he has done, even to the point of awe, the closest I’ve come is to watch all of “The Lord of the Rings” movies.
