I love what you’re written here. I’m a HUGE Nora Ephron fan and I’m in awe of Meryl Streep, so you had me at “Heartburn”, even though it’s been years since I’ve seen it and I don’t remember much about it — except that it was based on Nora’s divorce from Carl Bernstein. The fact that I don’t remember much about it probably means it wasn’t exactly memorable, and you’ve explained so well why that might be.

But I can’t thank you enough for the Nora clip at the AFI tribute to Streep. It’s pure Nora and I’ve saved it to watch over and over and over.

And Meryl Streep! There really is no one like her. The world’s greatest actress — no hyperbole.
