I don’t know of a single person who argued that Bill Cosby was justified in his actions. I think a case of moral ambiguity might have been a better choice. For instance, the Al Franken scandal. (Should playful groping be considered the same as sexual abuse?)

I’m not exactly sure what you’re arguing here, to be honest. It looks as if you’re saying moral arguments have no weight unless the person making the argument is also willing to consider both sides.

I don’t know about anyone else, but I’m not willing to do that with Bill Cosby. His criminality is pretty clear cut.

If, in fact, that’s what you’re saying.
