I couldn't agree more, Shannon. Much of writing is reading and self-examination. We learn by observing and by doing. That's not to say there aren't good writing courses out there, but you're talking specifically about writing for Medium, I think, and that's a whole different ball game. Nobody should have to pay for a course on how to make it on Medium, just one platform among many, and a platform that is constantly changing.

I've read numerous stories here on how to make it on Medium and none of them fit everyone. Not even close. Most of them are just hot air. One writer's opinion based on their own success. I've stopped reading them, but if other writers get something from them, fine. But paying big bucks for a Medium course? It makes me a little sick.

Keep on doing what you're doing. Some will agree and some won't, but you have a history with Medium that most of us don't. You know what works for YOU. You understand that there is no one clear answer to this Medium puzzle but it helps to share your thoughts from the inside.
