Good lord, did I write this sentence?? “I’ve been known to spend a hour or more in stationary departments”. That’s what I get for answering on the fly! Let me correct that right NOW! “I’ve been known to spend an hour or more in the stationery departments”.
There. Now, where were we? I buy my journals/notebooks anywhere I can find them — from Barnes and Noble to Walmart to TJ Maxx to drug stores to dollar stores. I usually look for them after Christmas, when I can find them for up to 70% off. Some journals are just utilitarian spiral bounds and some are book-bound with faux leather covers.
For a full sized journal, this is my very favorite. It satisfies all my needs. I can tear out pages, the spiral binding doesn’t get caught on anything, it holds a good sized pen, it has pockets inside both covers that are very handy, it has a moveable book mark — it’s nearly perfect! The ones I own don’t have the dividers like the one pictured here, and I buy a couple whenever I find them at the big box stationery departments. I must have at least 10 brand new ones at home ready to be filled, but if I find one I have to buy it, just in case they ever stop making them. Lol. (When I write in a journal or a notebook I only use the right page and leave the left blank, in case I want to add something at some point. I’ve always done it that way, so I go through them quite fast.)
