Bernie didn’t give up the primary until enough people went after him and shamed him into it. He reluctantly gave his support to Hillary but never actively supported down-ballot Democrats, as any second-place Democrat would have. Instead, he distanced himself from Democrats when that kind of solidarity was crucial. Get your history straight. Bernie never was and never will be a friend to Democrats, and that’s where the danger lies. We’re a strong two-party system, like it or not, and right now if one party is weakened the other party will surely win.

The priority is in making sure the Republicans don’t win. That means the Democrats MUST, no matter who the candidate is. The primaries are the time to battle this out, individual by individual, but when you make it Bernie against the Party you might as well move over to the other side.
