All I can say is Amen. The number of writing tips on Medium is astounding. Mind-blowing. And for the new writer it has to be exhausting. So the more we can assure them they don’t have to take every one to heart, the easier it will be for them to look on this as a simply a platform to show off their best writing.

In the end, as I’ve said, too, it’s all about the writing. Work on doing it well, publish your best, and forget about the rest.
